I Love Sushi (All You Can Eat)

This was my go to sushi spot in SCV when they opened around 2019ish. I used to go there so often that the sushi chefs would send out what new item they were testing out for free. Sadly I moved out of state but I always went out of my way to visit when I was around. Nowadays their “all you can eat” is only 3 orders AND there’s a time limit. They also nickel and dime you for EACH SINGULAR PIECE of sushi you don’t eat. There’s no grace period and they don’t even bring out everything you order unless you remind them multiple times. I can only imagine what others put them through to get them to this point, it’s sad because I lost my favorite sushi place in SCV, but a bittersweet moment as now I’ll get to experience the other places in the valley. Seems very sad for the servers as someone that used to work in food service and are now getting punished for the owners actions.

My wife and I have dined at thousands of restaurants, ranging from Michelin-starred establishments to small roadside spots. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. It took approximately 25 minutes just to receive water and another 30 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. When the appetizer was finally brought out, the waitress placed it on the table and left immediately. No one returned to check on us, and we were unable to request basic accompaniments like wasabi and ginger. After waiting without any service or attention, we ultimately decided to leave. Extremely disappointing experience and unacceptable service.

I love sushi, it's our go-to place. My son loves this place. He even made sure to come here to celebrate his birthday. friendly staff. I have tried quite a few places in the SC valley. So far, this is the only place we have found consistent with the foods.

I visited I Love Sushi recently, and the experience was genuinely wonderful. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and easily some of the best I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was calm, clean, and welcoming, which made the meal even better. A special thank-you goes to our waiter, Edwin. He was incredibly kind and patient, even when my son accidentally spilled water. Edwin handled it with complete professionalism, took care of the cleanup without a hint of frustration, and continued to look after us with great service. He truly made the visit memorable. Overall, the food was fantastic, the restaurant was spotless, and Edwin and the rest of the staff made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Had a great experience at I Love Sushi! The decor was beautiful — modern, clean, and created a relaxing dining atmosphere. I ordered the bento box, and it was fresh, well-portioned, and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient, and everything came out quickly. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for good food and a comfortable vibe!
